View Full Version : Anyone see the new Quaker State commercial?

So Quaker State has a new oil, "Q". The commercial features a silver STi, and asks the question "you paid for 300 horses, are you sure you're getting all of them?".
Pretty cool. :supz:
Still a gimmicky oil company though.

All I use is M1 and I love it. Been using it since 1999. I also used Castrol synthetic but settled for M1 back in 2001.

I saw it a few times. I thought it was cool but the horses were a little to much.

lol i've seen it a couple of times the whoel comercial shows everything that is on the outside of a motor moving and nothign inside. they show a view of the bottom end of a motor twice which looks like its on an engine stand lol. and i think they even show a gear box of a transmission in there too lol. :lol:

I really need synthetic oil, otherwise I'd have to do more than one oil change per month.

I am also reasonably confident that I am getting all 300 of my horses.

I have to run synthetic. It's a factory Mobil 1 fill, so that's what I run. :wiggle:

I saw it. Good commercial. But M1 is better. And I know a guy who used to work there. Their testing is NO JOKE! They will run a motor at full speed for thousands of miles, and then cut it apart to see how the wear is! They dont mess around!

Can you explain this buy 3 get 3 thing? I hate payin all that $$$ for oil!

Mobil cheapen Mobil 1 and left us the bill.

Mobil 1 Truck & SUV is the better oil of the Mobil 1 family.

I use Amsoil 5w40

Go to Pep boys. Ask if they have any of their 2005 calendars left, but they might not since it is March now. Buy calander for $1.00. Find coupon on calendar for 'buy 3 Mobil 1 oils, get three free'.

Buy extra calanders in case they run out. I bought 10.
