So does it act as a high speed orbital??
How does it compare to a dewalt buffer

Correct, the machine orbits the polishing pad while the pad is free to spin on its own axis. The orbiting is what keeps the operation safe to use by eliminating the chance of burning your paint, creating holograms, etc etc.

The dewalt is a rotary buffer which does not have the orbiting action. Roataries are typically set aside for professional detailers who have a lot of years experience (and a lot of junk test panels to practice on). Rotary buffers are likely to burn your paint, and are the cause of a lot of holograms in paint. (I can show you pictures of poor rotary work on cars that I've fixed using this machine).

This is by far the most popular, user friendly machine, that you'll come across. Easy to use and yet extremely effective at removing swirls, scratches, oxidation, etc etc. Theres a couple package deals up on the site as well right now, or if you'd like, I can custom tailor a package for you :)

on a side note, and not to hijack my own thread, lol, but did you go to zcon? Or going to the ecza meet in a few weeks?
