i have a 95 gsx with a fully built 6 bolt motor, fp big t28 turbo, bigger injectors, dsm link, etc. etc. I stopped driving the car about a month ago. the last time i drove the car it was perfect. ran great, fast as hell. today, i take it for a ride and as soon as the turbo spools, it breaks up really bad. pulled the plugs. three of them were black and dry. the one all the way to left was covered in oil. put new plugs in and it still braks up real bad. did a compression test. all cylinders read 170. and ideas of whats wrong??? please let me know

yeah, someone else told me that, but would they just go bad outta no where from sitting for a month. the motor was built by precision performance and only has around 10k on it. the car runs great. i let it idle for over an hour today. no smoke at idle, just a little black smoke when its breaking up. the oil pressure and temp guages all read good. no check engine light. im trying to sell this car and it sucks that this just happened out of no where.

what size inj.?? Do you have a WIDEBAND 02? what are you AFR's? Running too rich will cause this. Have you done a boost leak test as well?

Check you PCV valve, it may be stuck open. Unplug the PCV valve, and cap off the intake manifold side. A stuck PCV valve could cause your oil problem.
Also, make sure that you are getting spark to all of the cylinders, and that all of the injectors are working.

there is many many ways to build a boost leak tester... here is one, with somewhat detailed "How to" instructions

Sounds like a boost leak. Look for a blown off intercooler pipe.

Cap off any spare vacuum ports on your TB, block off the EGR valve, then check for leaks. You can add each vacuum port back in one by one, and it will make it a bit easier to figure which one is leaking.

did the boost leak test. it was leaking in a couple spots. fixed all the leaks. ran a little better but still broke up at 15psi. my air fuel is all screwed up. i need a base map for the dsm link. 6 bolt motor, fp t28 turbo, 650 injectors, front mount, walbro 255, aeromotive fpr, injen intake
