dualshock 3 = rumble + sixaxis. the only downside is that it keeps the same internal batt and with rumble on battery life gets cut in half

if its new its also software. the 20 and 60 gigs were the "legacy" machines, right now sony is trying to figure out ways to reduce the cost per unit. ditching the emotion engine is just one of the first steps

It's worth it just for the blue-ray capability. I could care less about the games. I've had Madden 08 for weeks and I just got out of preseason.

Hey dave you have warhawk right? What do you think of it and is there any game out there you would compare it to?

I like it a lot, its like some of the battlefront games i think. except faster paced. expect to get fragged about every 2-3 minutes lol. its one of the most balanced multiplayer games ive ever played. as for ps3 vs 360. well, if you have lots of ps2 stuff id say go for the 3. all the games and pheripherals will work (we were playing eyetoy the other day) if not and you dont want to wait for the good stuff to hit, go with the 360. just keep in mind that it may not be the only one you buy.

eh..... as for Blu-Ray vs HD-DVD..... i dont see a ton of difference on my LCD or hear it in my surround sound.....:bigeek:

probably, i love the air combat deathmatches but the rest of it is fcking sweet too. and its funny you mentioned ace combat, i just restarted AC05 with the main dialog in japanese. makes the game 100% better when i cant understand 80% of the background chatter
