i have decided to get some new gauges to better monitor my car's vitals, so i was wondering what gauges would be the most beneficial to get? form every source, i hear not to get an air-fuel gauge for a wrx because i won't get a proper reading (due to the two o2 censors on the car). i was thinking of getting:

electronic oil temp, oil press, and either water temp or voltmeter.

i already have a boost/vac gauge, and inkeeping with uniformity i am gonna get autometer 52mm gauges. i will be locating the gauges where the clock is with a replacement pod. let me here some thoughts, thanks.

Boost obviously and either oil pressure or EGT is my opinion.

I wouldn't worry about a volt gauge most newer turbo timers have them built in anyways

I say oil temp, oil pressure.

Water temp if you don't trust the stocker like me.

What about a wideband?

a gauge is only going to be useful to you if you understand the information its giving you. what i'm saying is if you dont have a specific purpose for getting a gauge, then you dont need it. i have a boost gauge and an egt gauge, and i wouldnt say i look at them constantly but i do look at them often enough and know where my car should and shouldnt be. i would say the next most important gauge for me would be an oil temp gauge just so i knew when things were all warmed up properly.
about the AF gauge... its not useful because its narrowband and uses the stock 02 sensor which will not give you any useful information at WOT. the gauge itself does not use numerical values so its pretty much nothing more than a flashing light in your car.

I say go for the AEM UEGO wideband A/F gauge (a wideband is much more important that any other gauge) and like other have said, EGT.

Subaru hasn't had that many problems with losing oil pressure, or at least I haven't seen much on it. Oil pressure is a good gauge though, but I would get a wideband before it.

how could any gauge be more important then a boost gauge? granted - a/f and egt are close behind, but boost is a must have.

i agree, and that is why my boost gauge was the first thing i did. thanks for all of the input, i think when i do the gauges i will be doing oil pressure, oil temp, and egt. now i just gotta pay some bills before i start "gauging up."

The essentials IMO are boost, EGT, and AFR (wideband). If you are interested in some type of package, be sure to PM/email us!! :)
