My parent's neighbors that use to live in Langhorne bought a GN (not sure what year or model) and never used it. It was put on cinder blocks and stored in the garage with the hopes of selling it one day. Then they moved and I lost contact.

yeah, if i were one of those filthy rich bastards, I would buy this, pick it up, and promptly do the smokiest burnout ever, blowing off every milimeter of tread on the original tires.

or not.

But, anyway, back in reality... 58 grand for an 18 year old car? That seems a bit outlandish...i suppose this may be the greatest kept one left, but there has to be better cars to drop 60 large on...

oh well, to each their own. I'll take a nice Road Runner...the car that is so obnoxious, it makes an STi look like a beige corolla with beige interior.

A crappy 18 year old car. It may have a turbo, but it's still an American car from the decade they try to forget.

That car was built decades after the 30's :screwy:

Thats beutiful, i wish i could buy it. But even if i was unbeleivably rich i dont think i would buy it cause then i would feel bad modding it and driving it, and i couldnt just leave it sit in a garage.
But thats me sayign this with almost no money so maybe it would be differant. Thats still a lot of money no matter what.

GNXs not be cheap at all. Even more rare of a car than GNs. Only has 150 miles on it.....well I don't really believe that. Maybe the new gauge cluster only has 150 miles on it. Surely a clean car though and it will bring top dollar, but he could've got more if he Barrett auctioned it (if it truly is as described)

For sale: 1 kidney, hardly used. Will trade for GNX #433.

That's a real ad, not fraudulent...he'll get every penny for it...there are still some that have less than 10 miles, but they're in showrooms...

You may think its crappy cause its domestic, but for that year/time, it was the car to have..."We brake for Corvettes" says a lot :prayer:

No doubt it is a sick car...I'm just not sure if its worth 58k. I guess it comes down to, why bother buying a car to not drive it. How much did the car go for when it came out? Figure if he had invested in something that gave a half decent return at the same time, he would have made a good bit more money.

58k for a GNX with that many miles!!! Its defintely worth it. Let alone being a rare car.

Justin's right...at a barret jackson auction, that car would bring almost 100,000--quite possibly more

damn straight - someone's getting a deal... must be a reason they didn't go through them though.
