Dodge Omni starter location

Well I cant find the starter in my 1989 Dodge Omni. I looked everywhere that I could visibly see using a jack on one side at a time. Battery has 12 volts and I can hear the solenoid click just no cranking. I was going to bang the ish out of it with a hammer, I just can't find it?

in the back, by the transmission. just over the halfshaft. from the tranny side you could follow the wires back to it with your hand, but its far easier to get under

So it is right under the manifolds. I couldn't get under the car enough to see. Thanks man!
