Been waiting for this game ever since it was announced. Loved the first one on the Gamecube, but the controller makes it so much better. Anyone with a Wii should go pick this up!

Anyone else pick this up yesterday? I picked it up last night on my way home from work and stayed up past 1am...almost done the first planet...sooooo goood!!

I got it as well, awesome game so far. The aiming is a ltiile too sensitive for me so I'll try and tone it down alittle.

I'm looking forward to this game, just have to finish the second one for the cube.

Cool cool! I'm not into Metroid anymore, only liked it on NES/SNES, but how's the functionality with using grappling hooks and whatnot?

If you are new to the 3D ones I'd definately reccomend the first prime since it's awesome. The grappling hooks and shooting like any wii game takes some getting used to. It's alright so far but it seems like the difficulty was really toned down which sucks for someone like me who wants a challenge.

I actually made the sensitivity the highest possible...i used to play counter strike...so im used to the screen spinning around like mad.

I didn't think the controller pointing was hard getting used to at all...but then again, I've been playing with the Wii since it came out...the only thing is sometimes I forget to center the controller and the screen keeps spinning. Other than that the shooting is freaking great...I also made it so you shoot with B instead of A.

As far as the difficulty goes...I just finished the first planet last night and the boss fight was decent...I died once...which I think means the difficulty is just right...If you think normal mode is too easy maybe you should play in Veteran mode.

That's cool. I'm heading up to EBGames on my lunchbreak to see if anything catches my eye, maybe I'll check this out....

Main reason I'm going is to possibly reserve 'Hooked!', the new fishing game
