Just Want to Intorduce Myself

Hi everyone! I just want to introduce myself b/c I'm new to the forum. My name is Ainsley, yes I'm female. I'm 17 and I own a 2002 Lancer Ls. I'm fairly new to cars and modding them, but I've learned a lot over the past year and I hope to continue to learn more. So far my mods. are: Bushcur Catback Exhaust System, RRM Piggyback ECU, RRM bored Throttle Body, Freedom Desings Front Strut Bar, Spoiler, Mudflaps, Exterior Stars, and I think that's it, but I may be forgetting something.
Anyway, if anyone knows of any local car events nearby Allentown, PA, please let me know b/c I'd love to go to them. I hope to see some of you at a meet sometime soon.

Welcome to the forum. You picked a nice car to start with, (just dont flip it like the other kid with the lancer). We have weekly meetings in neshaminy, pa on thursdays if you ever feel like making the trip. I hope to see you around.

Hmm, this friday I'm off of school. So, I'll probably be down for a little drive thursday night (tomorrow). Is this a meet at Red Robin? I'm not sure where exactly that is, anyone know how to get there from my area? I'd like to try to make it. And thanks for the heads up about thursday nights.

Hey Ainsley. Welcome to TST. I'm also a girl. Glad to see more of us getting into the car scene! I'm probably going to the Robin Thurs. so maybe I'll see you there. By the way, if you know the PA turnpike, take it to the Philadelphia exit. When you get off the exit stay to the left for Morrisville. It will put you on US Rt.1 North. Get off at the first exit for Neshaminy. Make a right when you get to the light. When you get to the next light, make a right (Horizon Blvd.) . Take this road towards the end and its right there in front of you. It looks like you're driving through a business park when you're on Horizon. Hope that helps ya!

I'm just kidding, I am on my 2nd one. The OZ was a great little car in the snow, yanking the e-brake around corners!! Hope you can make it out to the meet(I know it's kind of a hike for you).

Thanks everyone for the help. I'm going to try to make it to Red Robin tonight, but it's been a long day and I'm not sure if I'm up for that long of a drive. Depends how tired I am later on tonight. Hopefully I'll be a little more awake later.

No, just the EVO is AWD. Still a fun car though. Never had a problem or warranty issue in the year I had my OZ.

hey, whats going on.

We have semi random meets in the allentown area. Typically we end up meeting at the Red Robbin out on Tilghman street. I don't think i've seen you around town. I am fairly hard to miss, black STi with a big ol' white pentagram on the side of either wing. Once work calms down and the weather warms up, we will probably have a regular supper meet on monday or tuesday nights.

I know exactly where the Red Robin is on Tilghman street. I'm about 15 mintues North of that. That would be perfect if there will be future meets there. I will definitely keep an eye out for those meets starting. Thanks again everyone!
