We talk alot about meeting, lets actually do it. There have been alot of good ideas thrown out for locations. So if you have additional ideas post them up. Right now we are talking about Pike Creek and Newark Shopping Centers. Probably a late meet like 7 or so.

**If your interested in coming pick the date that works for you. Whatever wins will be the actual date.

If this works out we can look at making it reoccuring. This is just a simple meet and greet for all the people who have been mentioning it. Nothing complicated. If your gonna act like a loser and mess it up, please stay home. Post any other relevant thoughts or comments too. Thanks.

Its all good, I will swing around the corner and get you if you need me too. Plus you need to ride in the supra. Heck maybe I will have an alltrac running by then and you can rock that........I kid but motor prep work does start this week finally...6 months later.

I just came back from Ruby Tuesdays in Pike Creek and I just love that location for a meet. There's plenty of space and its really secluded from the road and from getting alot of peoples attention.

Just going to throw this out there in case no one knew....

A bunch of 240 guys meet every sunday at the newark shopping center in the evening.

ive been to that a few times but its not too big---they have like 4 or 5 cars and only a few times have they been pretty modded...

there are more people into cars in this tiny little area then anywhere else---we just need some organization---

Participation never hurts either...

That being said it looks like we have some interest in both days. Not as much as I'd hope for but whatever.

How about we meet both days:

9/2-7 p.m. meeting at Pike Creek Shopping Center.

9/9-This happens to coincide with the Whitemarsh "multiforum" meet. I think we should meet in Delaware at Newark Shopping Center (closer to 95) and caravan down to Ikea in Whitemarsh. Short drive maybe 45 minutes (Is this feasible for a DSM?). If you have not been before this is a cool meet, normally a ton of cars of different varieties and people are cool too. Meet time is Noon. So we should meet at 11.

Let me know what you think, just my .02.

Mike

A lot of the cars at the meets aren't heavily modified because they've spent money fixing their cars from actually driving them.

Sounds like they should have started with a better base then.

Weather is looking nice this wknd people...

Did anything happen on Newark/Elkton road with the two kids in the blue 350z and the red Porsche Boxster?

could anything be gayer: Red Porsche Boxster (not even a S) with 2 dudes bumping T-pain.....hahahha

last night was cool its always fun to have a convoy of quick nice looking cars, though the parking lot parade we did in Newark was confusing

Yeah, someone should start a thread with an address of where the meet is, so we can plan everything out.

ya --- my bad on that one--- there is usually a group of 240s that meet around 7 at the newark shopping center until around 8ish...The only people that were left were the townies hangin out in the back of pickup trucks and thats not a fun group.

we gotta take some pics and post what we got in the gallery and start to make if to the So PA people too....all we need is consistency and the word will spread...

too bad on Monday an old lady rear ended me at a stop light doin about 15mph destroying my rear end and pushing me into an 08 Lancer chipping cracking and tearing my front end. so my car is dead :( the Lancer and the old lady have minimal to barely any damage. and my car was pronounced totalled by the adjusters today so my car worth about 6-8k is now wort h maybe 2k according the geniuses at the insurance companies

psushoe
09-04-2007, 10:10 PM
That sucks! This is why I pay a little extra for "customization" coverage with my insurance. If they total it, they give me the worth of the car plus the cost of the parts on it (based on what the parts were worth when adding the coverage). The agent seemed very open to any mods. He took some pics, a list of the mods, and has everything in my file with the added coverage. I hope I never have to use it, though.

Good luck with the claim and I hope it all works out. If it wasn't your fault, you should have a little more leverage to get what the car is worth or make them fix it.
