im lookin into gettin a remote and key from ebay and it comes with instructions(sp?) on how to program it... if we get a meet goin, hopefully i have it by then

thats what we did...only problem is, instructions aren't working... :(

There are some years that must be done by a dealership. I don't recall which years though.

If you do go to the dealer, take every remote and every key you have with you. They'll all be programmed at once and any key not done at that time is useless since the chip in it won't be set.

My dealer charged me like $40 or something, or maybe $75, but definitely not more than that.

I'm just saying, I know there are a couple years that must be done by the dealer. Can't remember if it's 00-01 or 02-05 though.
