View Full Version : Microsoft XBox Live Points, is it too much?
Anyone else think that microsoft is getting rediculous with the downloadable content? I mean were alreadly paying $60+ for a game and then all this money for other content that the game makers were too lazy to add to it (well they prob left it out on purpose so we will buy it anyway). I never really stopped to think how much money ive wasted downloading crap until the other day, this is why microsoft blows. discuss.

yeah I'm never paying for anything again, i hate the points. The one thing i actually paid for they ended up making free 3 months later :(. Its set up so you almost always have points left over.

What I don't like is that if you have to replace your Xbox or HDD for any reason what happens to all the content (map packs, themees, etc.) you paid for download?
The only bright side is that for new map packs that come out if you wait like two-three months after they are out, they become free anyway. I waited for RB6V red and black maps instead of paying 800 points each.

the 120GB have a transfer option, i have also read that if you purchased something its on your account as being purchased so you can delete it and download it again later for free.

I would hope there is something because that would be teh suck if you had to re-buy everything.

Yeah it's account-based.
That allows for a few easy "Media Center" file transfer tricks too :)

I don't have Xbox Live, but I'm still interested in knowing what kind of downloads are available in Forza 2.
Is there anyway to have a friend download stuff to a removable memory card (probably not the right term!) and load it onto my 360?
I hate being so behind on the multiplayer stuff!
