After everything that could ever go wrong with a car, my car is finally done!

We finished checking for leaks tonight and then went out and tuned. Ray has my WGA set up correct (finally!!!!) and I no longer regret buying it.

The car is retardedly fast and this was the first time I have ever felt torque steer in an STi!

I now recommend the Forge WGA (w/ ported turbo) and a tune from Ray because now knows how to work that WGA and put down some insane power!

I willl post again once I run the car and possibly hit a dyno!

yeah will i must say i have not felt a vf39 hit like yours :banana:

How does the new WGA work and would it be sufficient with a BCS? as far as faster spool I mean?

I personally have faster spool after the tune with it. I am using the stock BCS and this WGA and I am seeing full spool at 4000rpm.

4k? are you sure? that seems pretty late. My 16g is spooled at 3200-3500 depending on how hot my IC is.

Will, also overported his turbo, so we need the wastegate tighter than usual, the problem is car was pulling like 5 psi of boost more from a roll than from gear to gear because of the combo of over porting and overtightening the wastegate was causing high spikes. now we are able to achieve the same boost levels in 2nd -6 gears with no boost changes in each gear, It flat out peaks the same boost which is what Will wanted. All that i will say is i went a little more aggresive with this car since it is a house car.

who cares about whp, i want some 1/4 mile times and trap speeds:mrgreen i know what this car is capable. then we can figure out how much power the car is really making from those numbers :wink:

with a gm bcs i can make it spool alot sooner

Yeah 4k is well laggy as hell. My ots cob map spooled to 17 psi at 2700.

yeah thats the way it should be but with his port job i cant do much with the stock bcs. i mean even bills car with the humongous perrin fmic is hitting full boost at 2800 rpms

not really i cant give any more details on this car but it does hit 16 psi by like 2800 all i can say. that forge motorsports wastegate is a beeeatch

Yes, if 16-17 was full spool then yes I hit that by 2700! :mrgreen:
