Had a nicely modded 07 WRX in for a tune today. It had a STi intercooler, TXS up pipe, TXS turbo back exhaust with a cat and a SPT intake. Boost was set to 17psi. Tuning was via EcuTek. I didnt have a stock baseline for this car, so I put a baseline from a bone stock 06 WRX along with it so the power gains can be seen a little better.

dont lie, you're putting a C5 vette on the rollers in place of your 'tuned wrx'... haha.
seriously though, you cannot deny the 2.5L... cant wait to finally get my heap together and bring it down.

I always enjoy being able to crank another 110+ foot pounds of torque from a basically stock motor. These motors are screaming for a 16g. The TD04 just cant move enough air up top to make any kind of decent power on the 2.5s.

2.5 bottom end+AVCS+TD04 turbo = crazy torque.
This combo yields great torque numbers down low, but the turbo just cant push enough air up top. These motors with a 16g will pick up about 50whp at 6,000 rpm.
