WOW.
Check out this twin turbo setup for the North American spec GTO, or the Holden Commadore in Australia.
That is a hell of well engineered system. I <3 APS products, but they are muy expensive.

insanity, that looks extra stealthy...me like. I still would have to go with an sti or an rs over that though. I like little engines :supz:

I like those turbo's tucked up under there, definitely stealthy. I imagine that would be a bear to work on without a lift though... :(

Wonder how the steering rack will hold up?

That is just sooooo purty to look at.

This doesn't have anything to do w/the turbo kit, but sorta the GTO/Monaro. My parents live in Melbourne, AUS and their one friend is an engineer w/Holden. He did a lot of work on the Monaro/GTO and now they have him working on some "super-secret" project w/the GTO again. The guy mentioned to my parents "400+hp." That's all he would/could say. So I can't wait to see what they come out w/over there and see if it maybe makes it way over here. Nothing usually does, but can't hurt to hope :D

I think it needs some more heat sheilding. That setup is gonna boil that trans fluid.

It says the shields are removed, I don't know whether they mean heat shields or just underbody splash shields. I am sure that trans fluid takes a beating though!

ouch! That's SIC!

Honestly, despite the scary speed with this monster v8, we didn't buy our cars for straightline 1/4 miles anyway. If any of us really wanted it, we could have saved money by buying a 'Stang or older V8 Chevy and added parts for less than what we paid for our four-bangers.

So, it's a different kind of car for a different purpose. Plus, if there was a twisty road to conquer, we wouldn't want one of those out-of-control, heavy bastards next to us anyway. Try driving that P.O.S. in the snow AND at a track.... I don't think so!

So I stick with my decision. Plus, a 12~13 second car is still hard to catch! :finga:

i get exactly what your saying man...my car sucks pretty bad in the snow or anything like that...rear wheel drive isnt too fun for that kind of stuff...except if its in like a safe environment or something...i gotta drift sometime with you guys...im not too good...but it should be fun to have a domestic rear wheeler there with all your guys' awd's...itll be fun...hope for snow guys

I agree, but you should check their WRX stuff. It is so well engineered(the black front mount is soooo stealth).
All I was showing is how slick that twin turbo setup for a car that already has 350 HP. I like the cleanliness of the system.

I'll volley that agreement back at ya about APS' reputation and quality, Mike. But I'll serve you back a backhanded: $$$$$$$$$$!

And I have none.. :(

I can't argue with you. Point: Homer.

Evo guys swear by the BOV though.

I like it, but why bother when you can simply buy the LS2 with 400HP stock?

Since the LS2 is the new pride of GM, you know there are gonna be some sick parts to work the balls off of that motor!

my friend has the first gto with the LS1 and damn that thing is fast. I can only imagine what the new ones with the LS2 are like
