Hello,

I’d like to inform everyone about our new style intake manifolds (1G and 2G) that will be available for sale starting Monday Aug. 6th. Our old style intake manifolds have been very successful and more than reasonably priced. With the recent purchase of our new CNC machine we felt it was time to step it up a bit and offer some more modernized features on our intakes, not only for the performance aspect but also for looks and ease of manufacturing. With these upgrades there will be a small price increase of $25; our intakes will now start at $475. I have posted a link to a quick Power Point Presentation complete with cheesy fireworks showing some of the differences between the old and new style. If you do not have power point on your computer you can download a free viewer from Microsoft at the following link:

A quick rundown of the changes is as follows:

- CNC machined velocity stacks.

- Redesigned head flange with ¼” step for welding purposes.

- Head and TB flange edges chamfered for looks and safety.

- Plenum bottom edges machine beveled for better weld penetration.

Now this does not mean that our old intake manifolds were built incorrectly, in fact we have never had one fail due to over boosting, we are more-less just trying to keep up with the times and take advantage of new technology. New pictures are also up on our site (www.jmfabrications.com/catalog). If you have any questions please feel free to contact me.

Thanks,
Jim

Last side is awesome. Looks good, I will be purchasing one in the future.

Also, I have a 1G block with a 2G head, in a 1993 Talon, I'd order the 2G manifold correct?

If you guys are interested: I could work a barter deal with you to give you a sheet metal pattern (and bend die) to make a nice smooth transitioned plenum like the ones above. They tend to flow a tad better and have a little bit better balance. I would just need some overall dimensions from what you are working with now. You would have a fully 3D manifold model in the end and photo realistic renderings. All critical manifold variables are easily calculated then. Much easier to design first, and check your manifold design formulas before you build. Just an offer.

If the 2G head is ported to match the 1G sized ports, then you want to go with a 1G intake, if the 2G head is untouched then go with the 2G intake mani.
