now that you got it looking quick, junk that d series for something better, b18c1 or c5. or you can build that d series and boost it, that seems to be popular lately. but if you want true baller status you could k20 swap it 220whp with a stock reflash. top end power out the ass

yeah i know what i can do with it, i ran into a financial situation involving being on my moms tickets/lawyer/insurance so im limited to what i can spend money on lately. Im about to pick up a b16a2 block and slap a gsr head on it because their smaller combustion chamber yields a higher c/r, but then i need a trans clutch and mounts, it will be swapped by next spring.

just make sure you put some arp hardware in there for an ls vtec swap. arp rod bolts will save your ass. i've heard of more than a few people that throw a vtec head on a regular b series and throw a rod b/c they don't do anything to the bottom end. 8k rpms on stock stuff = bad. 50 bucks worth of hardware can save you a thousand a machine shop

all b16s are vtec motors and come standard with oil squirters in the bottom end to support high revs. but yeah good point with the ls/v, ive had a couple friends not listen to me and destroy their prized motors in a couple weeks because they didnt reinforce the bottom

Overall i had fun, 12 cars were stolen after i left and there was that huge accident. Im happy with 15.626 but im lookin for 15.5 this week

Damn, thats a good time for that motor. With my 95 LS teg, I ran a 15.5 with a stripped interior. Then again it was my first time at the track...

I like your hatch though, looks good!

careful with that d-series comment, you'd be surprised what they can do, and they're cheap to build.

nice hatch

I agree. If you're looking to make power cheap, get a nice BB turbo, and a good tune, and make some with the D. B series parts often cost twice as much...

Its been a while since ive been here. I got my exhast fixed at midas a month ago...i cracked the resonator open and ripped a hanger off. They removed the resonator and after that the guy came into the waiting room where I was sitting and said "It looks like someone replaced your catylitic converter with this pipe" So I told him I had never seen that before and I had no idea how it got there so another $150 later I had a stock cat. So it's een 1 month and Im running so rich that my car rotted it out already. After 2 years of no exhaust tickets...I finally got one...while the cat was still good too.

my friends bro sold a yellow h22 eg hatch to a kid in pa. i drove it once just moving in and out of the driveway to shuffle cars around and it felt like a beast. it revved so much faster than my little single cam.
