:D
Hey all, new to the boards through my friend Pocket Rocket (prolly his handle on here). I am new to older dubs- currently driving a '95 Golf Sport... a true work in progress.
Craig tells me this board is full of fun peeps and I look forward to meeting you all.
I used to have a 2004 VW R32--- long long story, but no it wasn't crashed.... and before that a 2002 Civic SI turbo'ed.
(I know, I know--- OMGHI2U2)

Hey thanks for the reply! Right now I'm sporting a ghetto camera phone, but I'll see what pics I can rig. Luckily, most of the mods (minus the tires and tint) were included when I bought the thing.
How you likin' that STI? I got to test drive one a while back, I can imagine the switch from the S4 is day and night in engineering.

Hey thanks for the reply! Right now I'm sporting a ghetto camera phone, but I'll see what pics I can rig. So far, Herby (he's green, see  ) has front and rear strut tower bars, Neuspeed intake (re-oiled finally, thank gawd), FK Cup Kit suspension, Piaa Plasma yellow fogs, smoked fogs and turns, 16V Tranny with Sach's sport clutch kit, Flik 17's wrapped in Falken GRB FK45's (GREAT in the rain and corners), JL Audio in the trunk and Pioneer up front with my iPod adaptor. Oh yeah, and window tint that's illegal as hell. I'll work on some pics of me and the car  .

Too bad you had to get rid of the R32. My sister has one and they are very fun cars. How does this car feel after driving the R32?

...well, I paid for it for a year and modded it, but since my fiance kept it in his name, he took it when we broke up... and promptly sold it.
There is no car to compare it with imho, I missed it a lot, but the MKIII is growing on me. Going from an AWD VR6 to a 4 cyl FWD is night and day, but life is life and I'ma make the best of it!

Lol throw in that single reference that sucks but you have to live and learn and then get luvs  . What mods did the r32 have.

Let's see, Brutus, the R, had:
APR switch
Carbonio intake
exhaust mod
KW coilovers
10mm rear spacers
smoked projector headlights, tails, sidemarkers and bumper lights
Euroswitch
Rear fog light
JL in the trunk
XM Radio
iPod iCelink
B&M Short shifter
EIP motor mount
22mm Neuspeed Rear Sway
It was a true blast and a dear friend (if a car can be such a thing).
Best time in it was 14.0 in 100 degree heat (1.89 60')
