Amplifier suggestions?

Hey guys, a friend just gave me this sub and I figured I would install it but I know very little about car audio. All I need is an amplifier and I'm good to go (I have a friend helping me with other stuff). Does anyone have any suggestions on what would run best with this sub?

Is it a 2 or 8 Ohm DVC, if it is a 2 Ohm I would run a 500.1 Mono amp. Jl, Xtant, PPI are my favorites.

Good run it in parellel with a Mono block.

only if its the old school xtant or PPI the new **** is garbage. JL FTW, the new V2 amps are out now, thinner and stackable... very nice looking.

I just picked up an Exile X300.2
hopefully it'll run well
