It all started when I race my friend that has a 96 honda accord auto,CAI. He won so I had a feelin my car wasn't running right so I had to go to the track my first time ever atco raceway I hear atco is not that good of a surface after I went n that cecil county is better.

So I research what my car's 1/4mile times is in 95 which is 14.9. 1st run 16.5 2nd 16.7 miss 3rd gear 3rd run 16.2 better traction with my next to nothin tires. This is with a CAI n short throw. Now I have a CAI/short-throw/H-pipe no-cats/Mac-catback/ tires 17x9inch cobra rims. I also removed the back seat and panels behind the front seats to the trunk which was out the first time at the track as it is now.

The problem was that my Mass flow sensor was dirty, so I cleaned it with MAF cleaner thanks to CCP auto tech great teachers. I learned that dirty n other stuff and mess with the readings that can cause your car to run lean. So can nebody give me a idea what I may run with them Mods on my car I'm goin down to cecil on friday.

Every car runs different (and every driver is different). The only way you'll know what you're going to run is by going to the track and finding out for sure. I've seen plenty of people with similiar mods to me run way slower then what I ran in my car.

id say about a low 15. if you are still in the 16s then its not your cars fault.

I would say low 15s. I would not bother trying to do a burnout in your car car because there is no point with regular street radials. The cleaning of the MAF won't make much of a difference probably unless your car was really that lean. Good luck though.

i agree with jess, every car is different and every driver is different...the only way to find out is to run it....i don't see why you shouldn't break into the 14's though. 240sxdann ran a 14.7 with his foxbody and he only has exhaust

Sorry to say but that time is no good for that car. With my 89 fox with just full exhaust i ran 14.2. And yes there is a point to doing a small burnout with street tires, when you go threw the water box you want to get the water back off the tires so a small burnout will accualy help you

95/94 are real heavy they are pretty slow ..i hear the upper and lower intake are the biggest problems verry restrictive ..pull out as much weight from the car as you can ..spare tire floor mats ect ..get a set of drag radials and let her eat that will give a you a better ## for sure ..

I went down cecil county friday. Best run right lane was a 15.046 n 15.076 not using the water box. The surface was ok I guess second time I ever raced at a track. I went around the water box a few times. Talked to the guy that directs the drivers down to the water box, he placed me at the edge of the box he said it should help a bit No difference that I could tell, oh I'm sorry I started running consisted 15.2's about 4 runs right lane. I ran 9times fu*& atco which is three runs. Best traction was the right lane left lane loss traction at 60ft so lows-highest 15.3-16.1 n the left lane.

By the way foxbodies are around 2775 my car 3280 see the differences with a 200lbs person in the foxbodies weight less n are built to be fast. They just fu&* my car over lol. but I got it 4000 with 74,000 mile now 78,000 so I said take it friend of the family who is a gearhead also.

I was thinkin about a Spec stage 1 clutch kit, and SCT superchip because in my autotech class I remember my teacher sayin the ecu has no way of know what performance part u put on the car unless you tell it as in a chip. If anybody knows how good a SCT Superchip is and peformance gains also Pros n Cons I would like to know thanks.

Cleaning the MAF made a big difference. B4 I raced my friends 96 accord automatic V6/CAI. From a dead stop worn tires n running lean he won by a car.Put a Short throw n CAI on my car, I took my back seat out raced him on I95 I won. Clean my MAF I felt a harder pull pushed back in to my seat at about 4grand so I raced him on a small street beat by a fender no traction. Put my cobra R's 17x9 245/45 falkens Mac catback n h-pipe now its more like 5cars or more if I want to make him feel bad about his car. So no more retarded in the timing because of lean conditions.

anytime the light comes on you should pull the code even if it goes out. that way you can catch a little problem before it becomes a big problem.

you guys seem to be way off. My friend little brother has a 94 GT with 160k on it. all he has are 355 Gears and and he was running 14.80s at first and then got it down to 14.50s at 95mph at the end of the day. that was at atco. o yeah hes got 18inch cobra wheels on his car too and this was his first time ever at the track.
foxbodys are between 3000lbs-3400lbs stock. SN95s are 3600lbs-3800lbs stock. my 93 is 3300lbs!
