Ok, so I gotta get my Airbag sensor light taken care of on the car, and im still in RI, and dont really have one person to take it to, so I gotta take it to the dealer to get it fixed.

Anyone have a clue as to how much this is gonna run me? From what ive been told, its about 3r of diagnosis time, and whatever other time is needed for parts and labor. Labor is about $85/hr or so, which blows too...

So, to those techs, any clue as to if this is about right, or are they trying to rip me off? No one would even give me an estimated price either, which is bothering me a lot.

To be honest, I wouldn't think it would take allllll that long to figure it out. I mean, you throw on a scan tool and see what it says. Then again I could be wrong and there could be a lot more wrong then meets the eye, but I just dont think it would take all that long to diagnose it. For that type of thing all you really CAN do is put a scan tool on and see what it says and look up the code.

dont pay more than an hour for the initial diag. anything more is getting ripped. if they pull the code and it turns out to be more complicated, then they can charge you more to diagnose the problem.
