Hello,
I am new to these forums and am looking for some advise and facts. I know for a fact I am going to get laughed at for asking this but I am being very serious. I have a 1993 Toyota Camry 2.2L 4cyl with about 132,000 miles on it. I am looking to put a small shot of nitrous on it, an NX system. How high could you go without really stressing an old engine like this?

I am also trying to clear up carbon build up in my engine. This is causing pinging. For the most part the pinging is gone but I will hear a ping every once and a while. I used gumout maximum in the gas tank and sea foam in the intake vacuum hose. Any other suggestions to stop pinging? I am running mid grad gas as well thinking it was an octane issue. The reason I'm stating is so you know the current condition. This engine has been maintained with Mobil 1 Synthetic ever since I got the car.

Thanks a bunch!

I dunno but the last thing I would do is stress the engine with NOS.......NOS aint gonna make a hill of beans difference anyway on that car. Now would be a good time to try to sell that car before the engine goes and maybe shop for an old Camaro/Firebird or a DSM or some other mod-worthy ride. Perhaps an old Supra if you're a Toyota fan.

Well let us know how ya make out. Supra might not be a bad way to go as there are some pretty mean-ass ones out there.
