My friend use to have this harness/stand looking thing that plugged into his IPOD, and that IPOD plugged into his CD player on the front. Not sure if your car has that option for the head unit.

..well i have the grey model not the white one

in the srt my head unit has an aux input so i just use that.. the Y-Cable is permanently installed to the back of the head unit, it runs under my center console and out through a small hole in the center cupholder,. .so essentially i have 5-6" of wire poking out and the dock in the cupholder.

If you have the Bose unit, YOu're screwed. I am pretty sure the non Bose systems can't be done either. The only way without installing things is the FM modulator, or cassette adapter if you have a cassette player. I am using a hardwired FM modulator right now. There is no AUX input that can be used without modification. Which there are only 2 companys that are making anything to modify it right now. The one company is making a circuit board that plugs into the back of the head unit, and you will use the tape/MD button to access it. You will also be able to use the steering wheel controls. That's $50 and is on a major backorder. I'm #635 and they are only at #235 or something. There is another way, but it's a pain in the ass, and is expensive. I would get an Itrip that works pretty good in my fiance's 6.

I used an FM modulator. Plug antenna into modulator, then modulator into antenna input jack.

a girl i work with has an ipod with the griffin itune fm transmitter. i was totally shocked on the quality of sound and signal. Worked amazingly.

i have a dell dj-20 too. I paid the price of an ipod mini for a better battery + no restrictions + 15 extra gigs. and yes i fill it.
