Got to throw her on the dyno today. It was a dynojet. First run put down 191.18whp/262.14 ft lbs. Second run put down 190.77whp/259.82ft lbs. Just thought I'd share! No videos or anything, sorry. And I dont have a scanner to put the dyno sheet up hahaha oh well.

no..they aren't low. that is what they make at the wheels. your hp #'s are pretty avg for a good running 5.0, but your tq #'s are looking pretty good. how was your a/f's? did you get to mess with the timing at all

I didn't tune it or anything like that no. Just threw it on there to see what it would do.

One of the easiest cars to make fast and it won't cost you a fortune. Numbers do look good for a stock LX. I'm assuming it is a stick. Weakest point on those cars is third gear. Fork can break when power shifted into 3rd gear. Other than that, easy to work on, tons of aftermarket parts and easy to make fast. Good Luck in the future. Hope you have lots of fun w/the car.

Lets get some new parts on it and see how high we can push those numbers. BTW Thank You for the name drop.

It's still good to get those numbers. I got my car dynoed and learned I had another 20-30 hp easy at the top end cause it was running so rich.

One thing I forgot to mention. Mustang Fox bodies from 87-93 were notorious for building up carbon deposits due to the position of the injectors in the intake. If the car has some decent miles on it, get the engine decarbonized. Prices range from $59.95 to a little over $100.00. It really works. Do a search on it. Get the car dynoed afterwards. Mileage and power will go up.

well I did run sea foam through it. Blew out a LOT of crap and did seem to run better. It stopped it from stuttering when I start it in the morning.

Well its a 92, with 118k on the clock. Mods are not very much, intake, 2.5" cat back with x-pipe, no cats, and flowmasters, new cap and rotor, new plugs, new plug wires (accel 8mm's). Uh thats about it.

yea i might be right where i thought it was then. i was thinking around 215 to the wheels so that might be possible.
