Alright so i finally found the car i'm buying. im picking it up from a friend at the end of summer. its a 1997 Mitsubishi Eclipse 5 spd. It's in great condition but needs some tlc. now here is what im wondering. what is a nice simple body kit to put on the car to make it look sexy but not ricer. i can't really find any good brands bc the only one i know is veilside but theyre extremely pricey. can someone help me out with the different companies that make nice eclipse body kits?

Make a replica of the Eclipse from the Fast and the Furious.

eh that body kits a little overdone. i see so many around here with it. plus that wing is so unbelievably ricer haha. i like the body kit but i want something a little simpler.

First off the veilside eclipse kit is super ugly. Why not leave the stock body? and if you really want a kit the Drift, or the buddy club 2 are alright, prob what you are looking for.

Keep it stock. Theres no body kit that flows nicley with the 95-99. Any kit you put on is going to be ricer. Buy a nice suspension and wheels instead.

I have to agree. I've seen body kits on cars that look really good, but I've never seen one on an Eclipse that I like. Buy a nice set of wheels, a front lip, tinted windows, and suspension and it'll look awesome.

i agree with keepin it stock.....just get a lip.....body kits are garbage for the most part....i had a real bomex kit, paid out the ass for it and it cracked so easily.....went back to stock with a front lip and it looked waaay better

i checked out some websites searching up the drift body kit and found this. it really isn't too complex but it someone elses' eyes who has an eclipse or knows a bunch about them, does it look ricer?

I really like that kit actually, who makes it and what is it? They have any other ones like that

yeah it's not too overdone. its called the zen

Manufacturer(s): VFiber, Extreme Dimensions, VIS Racing

not sure if they make any others but the bodykitz site has a lot of different styles (most of them rice) but some still quite close to stock

thats the buddy club 2 as i said, but that paint job sucks a**! looking at that pic really makes me change my mine. You cant get a better kit then the 2GB with some nice wheels and a small drop.

I like my stock 2GB front bumper on my talon but I also like a little something more just to try and be a little diff.

i like the 2gb front bumper with a chin spoiler from www.machv.com i actually bought it, then my stock turbo blew and i needed a few extra bucks so i returned it

i enjoy the front of the eclipse as much as anyone but i think the zen bodykit is simple enough but adds some nice showiness to it. though im not a huge fan of the hood. eh maybe everything on it but the hood is cool looking.
