Anyone know roughly what it would cost to have a timing belt replaced on a 1991 Dodge Stealth R/T? Unfourtently timing belt snapped. I'm wondering if a engine rebuild is cheaper? Anyone know the price of something like that?

It is going to depend on what was damaged when the belt slipped/broke. If you can I would pull the heads and look at the valves/pistons and see if you got lucky! If it is damaged you saved that money and will need to replace anyway. Just my .02

Good luck,

*wakes up*

Give me a call at 610-438-0439 and I can give you a quote

You will need a new pair of heads and all of the gaskets that go with it. Just let me know the mileage on the engine and I will let you know if it's worth fixing the engine or not.

We're here from 9 am to 9 pm, just stop on by. It would be ok to just go ahead and do a head swap on that engine if your oil pressure is still good.
