I've done it for about 2-3 years now and love it. I run with Philly region, North Jersey and sometimes South Jersey. I haven't been to the last couple of Boeing events since i've heard the new lot is kinda small for it's own good. The previous lot wasn't much better but it was a decent site overall. If you can make it, try to come out to the event at Warminster June 17th. I'm hoping to pull double duty doing Englishtown Saturday and Warminster Sunday.

ive been goin to autox but i purposely missed last event at boeing and i will purposely miss june 17ths warminster, but i will be watching then anyway. im skippin some events to save $ for the check i wrote to race at pocono raceway on june 16th. its worth missin a few autox to go to pocono.

i like boeing, even tho i feel im the only one. the rx8 does well in VERY slow courses bc i can stay in first gear and power out of the tight turns while others struggle to be in 1st or 2nd gear.

the NEXT boeing event ill go to, i think its late july or almost aug i think.....

autox is a blast but just dont bother MEMORIZING ur times at each track bc they change the course each time u go. so dont compare one weeks boeing to another.

all in all im glad u came out and had fun, hope to see u all at pocono or warminster in 1 weeks!

If there aren't any events in your area on June 24, the Lancaster region has one at Park City Center. The lot is larger than the Boeing lot so speeds will hit 50-60 depending how they lay out the course. I'm usually there taking pictures.

It was an easy course today and was fast...

46.7 something on Azenis 615s got me second place in my class (SM). I think what's holding me up in that class is the fact I'm not on R-compounds yet. Oh well, there's always next season. Divisionals are going to fun, lots of seat time!!!

I ended up not driving well at all today and the best I could come up with was a 49.xxx. Kind of a disappointing day driving wise for myself, but other then that the course was great. Then again it was your typical Warminster course.

Nice time for the 615s :driving: You squeaked by Lockett on that last run to claim 2nd!

I ended up running a 44.9 to win the class, although when you compare that to the 41.5 the guy in the worked SM evo ran in pro class I have a long way to go :o

615's have big tread blocks stiff sidewalls and hold high air pressure. Mine have 6 runs on them and still look new. I don't think I will need them anymore. Just 2 fronts, its the best mod.It made my car competitive in sts

Uh yea that guy was off the freakin wall...

Another thing that's holding me back too is my boost, I'm running 7 pounds on a stock S15 SR. I know I could run more but I'm waiting on my Power FC, wideband, and datalogit to get here.

What pressure are you running on your GT2871R? What type of tires do you have?

psushoe
06-18-2007, 12:18 PM
I'm running 14psi and V710's. That's somewhere around 280whp, but I have trouble putting all that to the pavement with fwd. Like Josh mentioned, I have a nismo lsd and a new clutch on the way for Divisionals, so hopefully I'll get more traction. I eventually need to fit some r-comps wider than the 225s I have now, but that's going to take some creative fender modification.

That evo was putting 390whp down with some steam roller r-comps. I'd love to drive a car with that much grip and power.

Yep, I used my Azenis all last season (about 10 events) and expect to use them all this season (12-15 events) and possibly part of next season. Of course the only time they're used is on the way to the event, during the event, and the way home. Other than that, they sit in the garage. ;)

And that LSD will definitely make a huge difference. Even with R-comps and 280whp, I still pull out of corners alot quicker. Comparing our runs together, I make up all my time on him pulling out of corners, and he makes it back up in the fast stuff. The LSD should turn the tide.

psushoe
06-19-2007, 01:39 PM
It funny to watch actually. In a straight line, my car blows right by yours... but turn the wheel and all of a sudden I don't go anywhere. Once I get that LSD in and running with the new clutch, we'll have to see about changing that 280 number, too

Any of you guys coming this sunday to SJR-SCCA Auto X at Camden County Community College? I hope a couple of you SM guys will come out. Their last event was my first time out and I have to run in SM due to the power adder. Because SM is so weak I guess or doesn't have enough cars...I won with a stock suspension on ****ty Kumho 711 tires and tires spinning since I do not have a LSD either. I may come out to the SJ event this Sunday...not sure yet.

As for the divisionals, I'll def be there, just haven't registered yet. 250 at Warminster is going to be extremely crowded = course being shortened for sure. Oh well, it'll still be good seat time.

psushoe
06-21-2007, 04:49 PM
I doubt the course would be shortened. It will take up the same space as last weekends event (they moved the truck up to see how it would work for this reason). There are certain standards you have to meet for a divisional. People don't want to travel 6hrs to run a 30-40sec course. Also, they are only required to give 3 runs for divisionals. Cutting out the 4th run for 250 ppl is a lot of time savings. We're also probably going to run a different heat format to speed worker changes along (similar to WDCR).

Don't forget it's a two day event. So minimum of 6 runs. They add your best from each day/course for a total time. On top of that, you tend to get the best in this corner of the country, so you can really see how you stack up.
