Ok a few ppl have suggested that since I'm going for new tires here ( since i can see the belts on my Falken Ziex ZE-512's) that I should just go up to 235/40 series since the WRX they are going on is now specifically the weekend/fun car. This won't see too much daily driving nowadays.

Will 235/40's even work on a 17x7.5 rim and if they do is the guy that mounts them going to kick my ass cause itll be a pain in the ass?

Any insight is good....Thanks!

Hopefully I wont have the same uneven wearing issues I had with the Falken all-seasons.

I have those wheels, I am running 245's right now you can check them out tomorrow night.

EDIT: And yes they were a pain for the guy to mount for me to the point that he scratched my rim so careful where you go

i have them on a 8 inch rim and i don't think it will make much of a diff on a 7.5
