well. im looking to get a new car and dump the srt, it's getting boring overpowering the street... and i wanna try something new...
so im looking at a silver s2k for 18k with 24k miles on it...
i'd like to immediately throw the greddy turbo kit on the car and feel it out from there... i dunno if im going to be dissapointed making the jump tho... from 25psi to 7psi lol...
any opinions on turbocharged s2ks?

stock s2k is better than stock neon
turbo s2k > turbo neon or srt-4
the s2k will be much funner to drive because of its great handling
you think so? being able to drive around m3's is kinda fun, i dont think the s2k will be able to do that on 7 psi =/
See now that you are no longer wrong wheel drive, you will be able to have alot of fun on twisty roads etc. Plus it will still be pretty quick.

You'd be hard pressed to pass a stock e36 M3 on a track let alone an E46. I think you should drive the S2000 stock first and feel out the twisties because unlike your srt4 the AP1 S2000's suspension geometry makes it snap oversteer pretty easily and coming from a fwd you might not be able to recover.

it was a late model m3, i started behind him, switched lanes, and was reeling him in till 110 which became stupid and let off...
i'm not looking to slide the car around or take turns fast on public roads...
just throw the turbo on, make it a lot more powerful then stock, and then jdm it out and hit up some car shows and what not
you guys are really upselling the s2k lol, maybe i am underestimating them.. i'll have to go take one on a test drive
i guess im forgetting how light these cars are + rwd.... either way what i learn time and time again is no matter how much $ is in the car for performance, theres always gonna be something faster...

Then it doesn't really matter what it is faster than. As long as it looks fast sitting at a car show, you'll be ok.

I highly disagree with this statement.

PEOPLE! ITS MORE FUN NOT FUNNER! High comp + low boost is more fun than low comp + high boost. Actually, they're both fun. Eitherways, if you get the S you're going to miss your srt-4. Theres no way around it. Atleast with the S you'll be slightly more pimp (unless you're hideous and have no place being in an S.)

Throw the smaller headgasket on there (3mm I believe) and you can boost them all day.
Check S2KI...I know they have like the ULTIMATE boosting guide on there.
I've seen them with 10-14PSI stock motors...just swapped head-gaskets.
