Just wanted to let everyone know that POKES PERFORMANCE has race gas, I just asked him today to bring in VP MS103. It's unleaded and works well in my car and I do run 5 to 7 extra pounds of boost with it. ofcourse thats me:lol:
Here's there web site http://www.pokesperformance.com/

I'm like 5 minutes from that place. Knew the original owner. How is the place now, because I heard it's just the same.

Mike,
I looked at Poke's website but didn't see what kinds of fuels they sell. Do you know what else they have besides VP MS103?

Sunoco at 202/1 has GT100 at the pump; couple days ago I got some for $8.15/gal

For everyone running 103, get Torco Mach Accelerator instead.

I didn't asked him for prices, He had 5 gallon c12, and 108... Did not see any c16 but he said if you ask hime he'll bring it usually in a week or two. c16 was $10,50/gal at K&G

Nick,
I run up to 23lb with Sunoco 100, and 25lb with VP MS103 sometimes. It was $6.75 at K&G but he is out.

even if your joking.. please stop. you aggrivate me...sorry..but
it would blow your motor up, and eat your cats up...and eff up your o2 sensors.

answer to "Action park" dude=
i believe its bristol road???(i might be completely wrong) BUT i DO know its the road right on the same road as the back part of the neshaminy mall, and the oakford in, and absolute steaks...its just the opposite way from absolute steaks and the oakford inn....like heading towards bensalem blvd ..hope that helped bro.

Where in Bensalem is it? VP c16 is different from Sunoco 116.

I run c16 though my civic.

Mikes93 can you find out if he can do any better on the price if I get 55 gallons? That is what I did last year for my sunocco 116 and saved about 1.50 a gallon

Now I'm by no means a Honda expert, but WHY??? would putting high octane unleaded gas into any car do any damage whatsoever? And NO, high octane unleaded will not eat up anybody's cats or O2 sensors.

I have to assume maybe Jourdan got a bit twisted in this thread and thought the question related to C16 (which is leaded and will kill your cats and most O2 sensors) but if I re-read the thread sequence I think CleanNeon98 is asking about the high octane unleaded ...or I am twisted which happens now and then.

Now we all know that higher octane than necessary is a waste of money, so if your NA motor doesn't have high enough compression and/or your ECU cannot take advantage of the extra octane, you're just wasting money.

I'm pretty sure the Sunoco in Bensalem must be this one:

C P Sunoco
334 Bristol Pike
Bensalem, PA
(215) 750-0580

To my great delight, they said they are open 24 hours and have C16.

c16, yes.
leaded fuel...
im not talking about other gas.
either way for him its a waste. that was my point...but who cares.

...but who cares.

We care, that's one reason why we're here

for sure, C16 would be a waste in most cars unless you have high compression or boost.

I really dont think adding higher octane gas to a civic would do any harm, yet it wouldnt help anything either... Hope you like wasting money Lol.

Its not the higher octane that eff's up the car, its the lead which is used to raise the octane which f-s the car up.
The lead in the race gas plates the o2 sensor, and the cats, killing them after a few gallons of race gas runs through them. Thats one of the reasons that the EPA mandated that lead be removed from gasoline.
Thats why they have the higher octane "unleaded" for for most EFI cars, so it will not destroy the 02 sensors.

PS: I got the NTK O2 sensor for my FJO wideband since it is extremely druable with leaded racegas; my cats are in the garage where they belong.

Just an FYI, leaded gas kills 02 sensors pretty quickly. If you feel like spending the extra money on the more durable sensors, more power to you, but 90% of the people on here won't/can't, and need to know that c16 leaded gas is not the healthiest thing for their stock emissions crap, specially if they have to use the car as a DD and pass PA emissions.

Your concern for other car enthusiasts here is admirable. And you're absolutely right. No one no one with cats should ever use leaded gas of any kind; and everybody needs to read your advice that most stock O2 sensors will rapidly deteriorate from lead, and your car will run like crap and waste tons of gas if your O2 sensor is trashed.
