Sold the MINI Cooper S as hard as it was to say goodbye.. Something tells me I will have another sometime.. I loved that car! A friend purchased it which I am pleased about.

Attached are pics of the replacement. Looking forward to some RWD shenanigans once its nice and broken in.

Thanks guys.. I am considering putting a run together. Have lots going on right now but when things settle down I can see possibly doing a Crab Run II since it is already mapped out. Bucks County is just way too crowded to do that run again. I do look forward to throwing the rear out a bit.. *DSC OFF* will be right after ignition on! :wink:

With the Miata I am going to be VERY VERY careful with what I mod. Its main purpose is a relaxing weekend cruiser and roadtrip car. Subtle and low key.

No plans at this time to get rid of the Evo but I think I may be stepping down in exhaust because I am getting old.. :wink: I want to be able to hear the stereo clearly etc. I do plan on putting a rice whistle on it though.. that way the noise making is only during shifts haha

Kept it here to get some warranty work done this week since there are no MINI dealers in Towanda PA. It leaves this Friday.

So far she only has 490 on the ticker so have not pushed it that hard yet.
The MINI is going to be a hard act to follow. Power wise the Mini will eat it up but it is pretty zippy. I guess we had better hit 125 and see how it holds up in some twisties ;)

p.s. mazda held back the most when it comes to suspension so they could leave a lot of leeway for the mazdaspeed miata, my first mod if i had that car would be coilovers, and in a jiffy. the third gens could benefit from an enormous drop and somewhat stiffer spring rates!

if u had coilovers on it, ud have to be forced to get out of the car, i kid u not. do a run down twisties with stock suspension then do it with coilovers, while ur at it do some real grippy summer tires too, maybe a rear sway if ur feeling gutsy....

short of an elise, there would be no better handling car under 100k
