sometime monday night someone threw 1 egg at my car, i know it sucks, i'm in high school and my car sits in my driveway, it happens. the egg was on my trunk and right when i saw it i hosed it down and washed it off. my paint is still stained, anybody have any good suggestions to get it out? btw my car is black

goo-gone, use very sparingly and wash immediately with warm soapy water afterwards very gently. it'll come off in 3 seconds.

ahh, not good. sorry to hear man.

First things first, make sure you wash it off GOOD! The enzymes will just eat away at your paint if you dont.

Second, since it hit hard enough to break the egg shell, youre going to have a lot of micro-fractures in your clearcoat. Unfortunately these are not going to come out without anything short of a respray. You might have some luck improving it with a cutting pad and polish, then glazing and waxing, but chances are slim.

If you have collision insurance they will cover it for nothing provided you file a police report. Thats what happened to me.

not sure if you realize but i drive a '90 camry, i'm not too worried about micro-fractures in my clear coat, but i do appreciate the input! my car is going to the shop soon to have my fender painted so i'm gonna see if they can do anything for me

That's nothing man. I got egged while I was at a friend's house. One of the eggs was thrown with so much force it took the paint clear off, so now i have an egg-shaped paint spot on my driver side passenger door!
