These are meant for the 5-speed transmission and come struttin' in smellin' like 110% top quality that you expect from Kartboy!
The Kartboy short throw shift lever for the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 8, it provides a reduced height and throw versus the stock lever. This CNC machined, 4130 Cr-Mo Steel lever, electroplated black, reduces shift throw by 25% and lowers the shift knob by 10mm. While not a dramatic change from the comparatively short, stock system, the lever provides a more sporting feel, without the need to grind out pieces of plastic in the mounting frame.

NOTE: Since the stock lever is welded around the upper plastic pivot cup you have to break the plastic cap to remove the stock shifter. It is required you buy this part (http://www.mitsubishiparts.net/cart/?pn=MR246296&submit.x=13&submit.y=7) is required to install the shifter. The Mitsubishi genuine part number is MR246296.
