Whats up guys and ladies,

I'm new here and I must say I have enjoyed the site so far. Right anyway I'm posting to inform any of you that don't know and are interested, 311 will be playing at the Englishtown racetrack on Sunday the 21st of August. I propose some early racing say around 11:00 am hang out and watch if you wish, cold ones most of the day, and then the oh so sweet sounds of the greatest band in the land at night. 311
The day will provide lots of :partyman: lots of :supz:  and maybe even some

Everything is tentative for now but the date is set the times for arrival will vary according to your schedule. If there is interest ? drop a line so we can talk about plans.

Yeah PAledsm, I thought it was pretty weird them playing at Englishtown, but that whole week they will be in town. I'm trying to get to as many as possible. Thet really do put on the greatest show I've seen. For anyone that's interested and can't make the Englishtown show, they play the following dates in the area:

Sunday August 21st @ Englishgtown
Monday August 22nd @ The New House of Blues in A.C. (never been there yet but can't wait to check it out)

Wednesday August 24th @ Festival Pier at Penns Landing (of the three this is really the one that you want to go to, as I've never been to a better venue)

Being they have that Tuesday off Wednesday's show in Philly will be the TIT's.

Anyway back on topic, I've never been to Englishtown for a show, anyone know how they set it up (stage)?

I'd love to see them at Penns Landing but on a week night that might be rough. Any info on show time for Wed.?

Agreed, however if the oppurtunity to take a day off presents itself, I think it would be worth it just to make that show. I myself thought a little ahead and took that week off. As far as show times, I believe from the last few shows at Penns Landing the opening band (PaPa Roach) will come on at 8:00 play till 9:30 or so and 311 will come on around 10:00.

NOTE: These times are from memory and my memory on nights that I see 311 are hazed by booze  so take it as you will

I am thinking I'll take the following day off. I'd like to see Poppa Roach as well.

I've met alot of people that were on the fence about them, but once they saw them live, it changed their minds quickly. I'm not saying that it will change your outlook, but if you get a chance to see them, and join in on the fun, well worth the price of admission.

As far as E-town goes, Papa Roach will be opening as well as Unwritten Law. If your partial to either of those bands, then having the bonus of 311 to close it out will, how do I put it, be an experience. One that shouldn't be missed.
