"Lazy Eye" is usually any car with retracting headlamps at "half mast".
Any new age cars with fixed headlamps need eyelids to get the "sleepy eye".

ithink they call the 06 lazy eyes because they look lazy compared to the bugeye or blob eye

I think morettes look like ass personally.
There are multiple generations of WRX
93-01 is the GC chassis (no real special name for it)
02-03 is the bugeye
04-05 is the blobeye
06-07 is the vag-eye, eagle-eye, whatever the hell you want to call it...

Yeah, there was a debate on clubwrx right when it came out and a good amount of people said that it should be called the vag-eye. The decided on hawk eye which I think is less interesting.

Blob-eye and peanut-eye terms seems to be a regional thing.
