This weekend I took a trip to our cabin in the middle of nowhere. I was bored Saturday afternoon so I took a walk.

These pictures aren't up to most of your standards but I think I did pretty good for a point and shoot camera on a really cloudy day. Please don't tear me apart too bad.

Nice pictures.

That would be a fun road to take a few WRX's on a late night run.

Yea I would love to get a well powered subie out there.

Its a Olympus Stylus 750

That looks like a nice area!!
Its a great area till you get out of the woods and see the rundown towns around there. Its somewhere between Harrisburg and State College.

Hahahaha you would get lost out there. The woods are quite vast. One day I would love to get a small group out people out there for a nice Saturday run but that won't be anytime soon. They just paved alot of the mountain roads up there... I could have fun for days and never hit the same mountain rd.

Some of the pics are boring to me. The pictures of the road inparticular. The mossy decaying trees is where it is at

Yea they pretty much matched my mood that day.
Any other criticism on the pictures? Really I can take it if its constructive.

the mossy logs are cool. but the others are ratehr boring (like previously mentioned) taking a pic of the woods, in the woods is hard when there is no real subject matter. it's just like bang heres a lot trees. I'd say to always try and have a subject matter. and work on some of the angles, havign some better composition and angles of view make even the most boring picture intriguing. for example take a picture of a tree from a position a person normally won't view it from. even thought it's just a tree, it's intriguing cause of the angle it was shot from...

other wise keep clicking away.

Uhhh If you guys are serious, Ill be more than happy to request off and bring the Jeep out for a recovery vehicle. Seriously.

Or maybe I could just haul all the spare tires lol.

Plus, It would be a added bonus to have trained medical personnel on the ground with Bens car out in the woods.

All that soccor mom perfume will attract the bears.
