Question, what does one do with a stock Saturn SL2 1991 single cam whip with a blown engine? The engine is practically gone. It runs but I think it only has about 5 miles left on it. It blows mad smoke (white / light blue) and taps like hell.
BUT the Saturn has a semi new clutch, new radiator, semi new alternator, semi new brakes, new front suspension and semi new tires. Zero dents and a good paint job along with a damn good interior and sound system.
Here is the issue. The whip is only worth about 1,500.00 as per Kelly blue book and it’ll cost at least that amount to get an engine new, used or rebuilt because I don’t have the skills to rebuild or replace an engine myself.
So what the F does one dooooo?
A picture of the whip is in my TST garage.
