Im lookin to get a New car thats around 40k-50k tops. The less the better. So far;
Bmw 335i - inline 6 twin turbo RWD
Evo xi 4 cyl turbo AWD
Acura TL v6 FWD
G35 v6 RWD
350z v6 RWD
STI boxster 4 turbo AWD
CTS v6 RWD
Mustang and GTO v8 RWD but i dont want anything american really and i want a lil class to it.

Now someone recently told me to lease but that naarrows the cars down by alot since anything limited production out. evo, sti, ctsv, vette, etc.

C6 Vette... its what i'd do for sure, but I cant get enough of raw performance.
You can spend a little less and go with an STi or an Evo and they're both great cars as well for a performance aspect.

I've heard some good things about the 335i and it'll be a bit more refined than the rest of the cars i've mentioned so far.

the Acura TL and G35 are similar in my book... both good looking, pretty plush, and still decent performers. a good mix all in all.

But in my mind, you can spend 40-45k on a new Vette and I'd never look back :)

i might go with the 335i b/c its classier and bigger and it can be a pretty cool car after some mods and all. I dont know i want something different. plus its a Beamer!!! lol

It's called a bimmer and I'm not sure if you can get a 335i new out the door for 50k

C6..and the GTO is made in Australia. It's far and above made better than any other American product you can afford.

Does it have to be NEW?

You can get a used CTS-V for mid 30's with really low miles. That gets you the Vette and the CTS in one package.

How about checking out the SRT8 Jeep Cherokee? That's one badass vehicle with tons of HP and AWD if I remember correctly. And it's right in that price range. Otherwise, I'd go BMW for a daily driver or Corvette for the weekend toy.

I say the 335i as well (why can't they make a damn 335xi)...I was seriously considering it for a little while, but ended up looking a little higher.

335xi will be here late 2007.
But from a peformance standpoint, BMW's X-drive is not ideal

A nicely equiped sedan with sport package can be had for sub $50k.
