i dont have an answer for you, but it would probably also be helpful if you said what kind of power you're putting out and if you're drag racing or daily driving or both, etc.

i only can tell you on what experiance I had, I had an ACT in mine, and I beat the hell out of it for a long time, and it put up with it for awhile. Ive heard centerforce is better though, but idlk...Idk if that helped, but yea lol

ACT all the way! You are complaing about 20k miles??? how many of those miles were the car beaten?? Come on man, cant complain about 20k mile son a clutch that you beat. I have numberously used ACT's 2600 on my AWD 1g. I will never use another till I got twin disk.

honestly, i really don't beat my car...hence the reason the **** doesn't break down once every 2 weeks....i only had the car to the track twice, i don't street race, i really only use the car for point a to b type of travel

i havent had good expeirence with centerforce dual friction, ACT 2600 six puc and get rid of the factory clutch dampner and u will be fine. As far as wearing it out in 20k..thats not unusual once u get the 2600 all u will have to replace is the clutch discs Clutch masters is good as well....just stay away from cenetrforce...IMO

ACT2600 with stock disc workes GREAT on those cars..I burned a centerforce in 4k with a 13 second galant and light FW, needless to say I will not be getting one of those again..
Driving style plays a huge part in how long it will last, regardless if you beat on it or not..This is why I have 25k and over 150 drag passes on my stock clutch and other fry theirs in as little as 10k with no track time claiming they do not beat on it..Go figure. ACT all the way, I stay away from clutchmasters on DSM applications..I have probably bought 5 ACT2600's in my life and I was never dissapointed with any of them..
act 2600. have it. love it. no problems!

You didn't mention Spec as a brand...
Guys switch from Centerforce Dual Friction to the Spec Stage 2. Spec is the preferred clutch on the ZX2 boards... I had a Centerforce DF in my last ZX2 and it started slipping at about 55k miles but that was at normal driving and the occasional beating so I wouldn't rate that good...
I have a Stage 2 and its rated for 375 tq yet still has an almost stock pedal feel...
The stage 3 for your car is the same price as stage 2 and rated for 415 tq...

my pedal doesnt feel any stiffer than stock.( act2600 w/ street disc and act flywheel)
now my buddy has the 2600 in his 1gawd and the pedal is crazy stiff, but he also isnt running the street disc.

The disk shouldn't have anything to do with how stiff the pedal is. Only the PP will effect how hard it is to push the pedal in. Is it possible that the 1G is a cable?

i suppose it possible.
but we both have the same PP, just different discs.
and my pedal is butters like stock, and his is way harder.

All dsm's use hydraulic engagement..The disc only has to do with the grabbiness of the engagement and also related to torque capacity..
