I was installing a siruis box to my cd player. Well, it worked fine, went to put the headunit back in, and tried to turn it back on to see if it worked still, and the cd player wouldt turn on period. Checked all the fuses and connections, eben unplugged the sirius wires and it still wont turn back on

that could really be alot of problems. was the sirius tuner made for your head unit? what brand of head unit is it? did you check the fuse on the radio itself? please provide more info.

Checked the radio fuse, its fine. And yes, the sirius is made for my pioneer headunit.

well i know that there at least 3 fuses to check. the one in the radio, the in the fuse box inside the car and there is also one in the engine bay too. i know this id going to sound stupid but did you check to make sure all the wires are connected? and if you have a volt meter check the the power line comming from the stock harness to the after market harness that will tell you if its the radio or if its inside the car. you might have also blown a relay

Checked under the hood and inside the car, inside the car one was blown, but when replaced, it still didt do nething. I have it all connected the way it was before, still no power. Where's the one in the engine bay?

And I don't have a volt gauge.

i hooked a gauge up to the power line to see if it would glow, it didt, so i assume this is my problem, how i fix it?

there should be a fuse box next to or around the battery. if its not glowing then its a car problem not the radio itself

a fuse on the radio wire running to the battery maybe? or the actual fuse box?

your car should have 2 fuse boxs one inside and there is one in the engine bay that holds a few relays and other fuses for protection. it has fuses for you lights, fuel injectors **** like that. the way the radio wires run goes like this from the radio to the inside fuse box then out to a relay or a fuse in the engin area then from there to the battery. look around the battery you'll see it and cant miss it

do you have a fuse tester? if so test the radio fuse in the fuse box. if it doesnt light up then its in the car. if you cant find the fuse or the relay under the hood then you might have to take it somewhere and they will show you. i would come and show you and help but your to far away
