Well, what it comes down to is the car runs great but I can't launch for $hit! :o

At this point I've just been daily driving the car and have never actually tried a drag style launch on the street, trying to keep it in good condition. ;) I also haven't been to the track in a while. I usually pull 2.1-2.2 60's in the B15, so I'm not a "bad driver" per se...just not practiced with this car. Either way, here were my results for the 3 runs.

Stock 2007 Audi A3 2.0T 6MT S-Line

Run #1 - Launched too low and bogged at the line - Front Tire PSI 35

R/T - .018
60' - 2.537
330' - 6.619
1/8 - 9.911
1/8 MPH - 75.55 MPH
1000' - 12.736
1/4 - 15.107
1/4 MPH - 95.50 MPH

Run #2 - Launched too high and spun at the line - Front Tire PSI 32

R/T - .322
60' - 2.450
330' - 6.514
1/8 - 9.829
1/8 MPH - 74.90 MPH
1000' - 12.667
1/4 - 15.058
1/4 MPH - 94.81 MPH

Run #3 - Launched too high and spun at the line - Front Tire PSI 35

R/T - .791
60' - 2.410
330' - 6.487
1/8 - 9.801
1/8 MPH - 75.03 MPH
1000' - 12.640
1/4 - 15.025
1/4 MPH - 95.01 MPH

The car is easily capable of a 14.6-14.8 with a good launch, and if I had a few more runs I know I could have gotten it down. But I promised the wifey only 3 runs with the car. At least this gives me a decent baseline to compare to when I finally get an APR reflash. :D

I'm waiting for my wife to say "yes"! :)

I've got the Spec for autocross though, this is really just by daily/highway driver. Nice and quiet and comfortable.

ur 60's were getting progressively better, so just get back out there (with the wifey's permission, or when shes gone), get them down and get into the 14s

Yeah, it's what happens when you get old. But I still have the Spec. ;)

And yeah, I just picked up sponsorship in the last couple of weeks. Still have some details to work out, but it should be a pretty good deal for both of us. :D You know Hill?
