Hey whats up guys. Recently my exhaust system has been starting to go. (bought the car with the exhaust) i am looking to upgrade to a new, better exhaust system. I mean headers, downpipe, high-flow-cat, and a new cat back! the whole schabang. The problem is i dont know what manufacturer is good. I have a 1998 Volkswagen Jetta GT, and i just dont know where to look. I need them all to be bolt on because i do not have the money to pay someone to do it, and i would rather do it myself anyways. Thanks in advance for any feedback

go with a magnaflow catback for a vw.. dont put a downpipe or highflow cat on an n/a car it doesnt help and youll lose your top end speed

I say Neuspeed. They make a lot of quality stuff for olders VWs. They tend to be a little on the pricy side though. Good luck!

Have you checked out the vortex at all yet? They might have vendors on there that could help.

edit-Im not sure if there is a header option available for your car......

theres plenty of Header options for that car. My cousin has a neuspeed catback on his car and it really fights againts the raspy noise the 2.0s make. i like it alot on his car.

Ok cool. Im going to ask around at some speed shops for headers. Meanwhile its between the Neuspeed and MagnaFlow cat-backs. The Neuspeed one is about $700 and the MagnaFlow is about $620. Im just wondering which one is better quality, performance, and sound.
