Check this funky thing out! Not sure if it could be practical but cool none the less. Whats everyones take on it?

i'm not an engine pro by any means but I would think this could lead to insane numbers in the power and torque department. This is definately something to watch.

I'm assuming it runs like a diesel... since I doubt they can mechanize the movement of sparkplugs and wires... I'm speechless. Definetly cool if nothing else.
they definitly claimed a timed spark in there, so it would be an otto cycle not a diesel, they could just have the spark plugs mounted to the "block" but would have to have almost a hardline for the wire so it would move with the "block"
either way thats definitly unique, I'd love to see and be able to play with a prototype or a physical display motor, that whole outside moving though is unique while the piston sets just go back and forth
they might as well get it initially set up for hydrogen or something else though if they really want to sell it

If they were really on the ball, that would be they're best move.

too much **** moving for me. Took me like 2 minutes of looking at the photo to figure it out. then again I didn't want the videos.
So how would you mount the exhaust to that thing? It's spinning right? And the intake mani would spin with it?
yeah there are still a lot of moving parts, so the wankel still beats it on less moving parts, and the need for a moving exhaust and intake manifold would suck too
I dont think I'd invest in it because I don't think it would go too far

It looked fragile to me and would probably be better for economy rather than power.

You really think so? Reason I think it would be a economic power maker is because the number of detonations seems higher than a conventional engine. I dunno, I could be talking out my ass lol.
One thing is for sure tho, it's going to take a lot more to get it moving because yes, the block rotates. Just how they would incorporate that into a vehicle? *shrugs* Unless they encased it in something. Which would make maintence an unnecessary nuisance.
