Matt came through for me as usual last week and fabbed up a poly tranny bushing for me. I can't even begin to describe what a significant difference this made. The car's response is even more immediate than it was before, both under acceleration and braking as well as initial turn in. Every shift is as crisp as can be when just cruising around town or running through the gears.
Yes there is the slightest little bit of vibration in the steering wheel, but its honestly not even noticeable. Of course with a solid tranny bushing the noise from the gears is picked up to some degree (no squishy stock bushing to absorb the transer) but for the benefits reaped from having the solid mount, the noise is very tolerable. I had Matt drive the car with me around the block real quick before I went home and he later told me he's making one for his car as well lol.
If you guys haven't checked out Import Intelligence yet I highly recommend them (obviously). Their quality of work is second to none and they don't feed you any BS either.
I hope to be able to snap some pics no later than this weekend and i'll post them up as well.
