Will a 1g Throttle body fit on a 2g with no mods. I know they are a bit bigger and can be had for like 10-15 bucks, so i figure that would be a cheap little mod that will help a little on throttle response.

When did you get one?, and it definetly helps to open the intake manifold up as well. Stock 2g mani and 1g tb isnt really going to do much since the mani is a bottle neck

extrude honing is supposed to work really well for stock intake manifolds. my cousin did it to his 98 gsx and he saw great top end gains out of it

I have been thinking about this myself but not sure if its worth it. May jus go with a jmfab setup eventually. I have an extra 2g mani to get done to but im unsure if its worth it. Would definetly wanna see some type of proof or hear more reveiws on it. I gotta do some more searching
What setup was your cousin runnign out of curiosity?

he had a 1g throttle body and intake manifold that was extrude honed, t-28, TBE, boost controller, and some other goodies, he is on tst, his name is olsookie, you can pm him for more info on it. He has an evo now though, His gsx ran GREAT....was definately one of the faster dsm's i've ridden in

i had the same thoughts about whether it would be worth it or not b/c you can get an intake manifold from JMF for just a little bit more than getting a stock one extrude honed
