jdm b18, itr tranny, basic bolt-ons, it beats the crap out of my old vr6 Corrado, costs less to maintain, and is a lot of fun. I don't know anybody else with the same swap, but i know a lot of mark III guys. Its practical for the my situation.

Explain please?

GSR swap I believe is the best bang for the buck Honda swap...

B16 is the way played out swap, thats a torque less motor that has pretty much turbo lag before vtec kicks in...and yea vtec is over played and overrated...

B18c5 ITR swap is way to much $$ for pretty mucha factory built NA motor, I say grab a GSR and throw some fordge internals in for that same or less$$

B18a/b is my favorite since they are cheap and readily available...and are awesome boosted!!

Sorry to jack your thread dubjinc, nice car probably a good sleeper too since its purple

a b18c could very well be an R motor. jdm motors dont come with the 1 or 5 beind the b18c like usdm motors do.

The B18c is the JDM ITR. The USDM GSR is B18c1 and the ITR is B18c5. In Japan they don't have a GSR. If the best bang for your buck is a B20 you can boost that for DAYS.

Nice sleeper just lower a little and put some fogs on it!!

i'm not saying it isn't practical or a nice swap, i'm just trying to say that it's very common and you see them everywhere. sorry if it came out the wrong way. boost it! my friends got a gsr that hes throwing a 50 trim on

how many hondas are there on the road and how many motor options are there? No wonder you see the swap a lot considering theres thousands of em out there

that isn't right. japan did have gsr motors and they are also labeled b18c. for a quit link go to hmotorsonline.com and just look they have usdm and jdm gsr motors.

The jdm gsr motors came in the Integra SiR-G

Its the B18c out of a 96' gsr, its labeled B18c......jdm style.. yeah its purple, and it has hubcaps. I do however, already have foglights, high-flow cat, 2.5'' exhaust, skunk 2 intake manifold, itr throttle body, itr tranny with lsd, it even has a just cruizin' decal on the back left, which adds i think 15 hp to the wheels.

the manifold is what threw me off, i saw it and at first i thought itr, but you said skunk2 intake manifold. looks good very sleeperish. any dyno numbers?

I'm at work now...But i actually ran over to RT tuning this morning and i do have dyno numbers...but i'll post that later with a picture of the graph..i was a little suprised, but i know how fast it is so i guess the numbers dont mean too much right now.
