Been done by a Few people on HMT, Abaz did a TT LS/vtec with small IHIs in a CRX, Whitey (who is a local guy) did a TT D16z6 with T-25s I believe in an EF Hatch...

Both were cool setups but both and most people will agree, it isn't worth it, much easier to just slap a single turbo on and you will make more power...

whats the point?

I could see a good series setup using a small turbo for a quick spool while haveing a larger turbo kick in a little higher up...but really you can just sacrifice instant boost and get a proper sized turbo for your power goals....

in the last issue of honda tuning there was an element with an acura rl or tl swap that was twin turbocharged, it was also converted to rwd, it was pretty sweet

There have been a couple of S2000's that have been twin turbo'd but the cost to power ratio isn't that great

There's a local guy with a Miata turbo'd with two Garrett GT-15's, aka baby turbos. I'll try and find the link, his setup is sooo cleanly done.

Ralphy from DRT twin turboed his civic back in the day and went pretty dam fast but there is really no point to do it.

This is only an option for those in the car show game. Power wise and spool wise, you will always be behind a single. Follow my turbo manifesto:

Keep it simple, stupid.
A single turbo is ALWAYS better than 2 unless it adds unnecessary piping.

So...
All in-line engines, single turbos best
All V engines, twin turbos best

Boxer 4s, single
Boxer 6s, either work pretty well.
