I've been drinking Magic Hat #9 for a few months and I love it. Soo good. I wish it was easier to get Fat Tire or even Shiner Bock in this area, but this stuff is good enough for me.

I'm sorry but Blue Moon is urine compared to a real wheat beer. Franziskaner Hefeweizen is my favorite beer. When I can't get that it's Yuengline or a Yagerbomb.

you've got it switched around! start with the good stuff, then drink the Miller once you're already a few in, haha. But I agree with the college student sentiment about Natty/Keystone/etc. When I was in England this summer I was so spoiled, then came back to this ram piss.

My favorite medium bodied beer is Stella. For full body it's Guinness. They both keep me happy, but I definitely need to try some of the local micro brews.

Nah man, during the summer, at least twice a week, me and my boy would get a thirty of Miller and a six of Yuengling. The thirty would go to the party, but stay between my legs, only distributed to a select few... After about ten of those, we would relax a little, sip on whatever was free, and enjoy the night as much as possible. When the party dies down, we make the trip back to his house, where a 6 pack of yuengling sits in the fridge... As we slowly sober up, there is no better feeling then reaching into the fridge and pulling a Yuengling out... Its like heaven, but its always a good idea to have a few smirnoff (bitch) drinks in the fridge as well, just in case you bring a girl back with you as well

If you like the woodchuck stuff, then you would probably like Strongbow. You have to find a decent distributer that carries it though.

Most of my friends from school and my old job would only be able to tell me yuengling or some other crap if I asked what a good beer was.

I had Nugget Nectar (http://www.troegs.com/nuggetnectar.htm) at this oneplace up towards Douglasville. They had two full pages of beer, and all the stuff I tried was great!

This is true, but for the purpose of enjoyin the drink rather than the effect, theres a lot of things i would put before Smirnoffs, they just dont sit right with me I guess. Rolling Rock, Sam Adams, and on the occasion Heineys are all good choices.... Jager and anything is always good, I dont drink vodka, but thats b/c of bad experiences lol, and Soco I drink from the bottle, by the bottle. lol, If its a long night ahead, pour a few shots, pass them around, then walk around with bottle in hand for the rest of the night, sipping/drinking/chugging as necessary

I need to try something besides Flying Fish's Pale Ale, which is what my family drinks. I HATE pale ale, but I hear good things about their summer stuff, I'll have to try it.

The best beer selection for takeout in this area hands down is Candlewyck in Buckingham. Mesquito Grille in Doylestown has one of the better bottle selections ive encountered in the area. Plus they have Hacker-Pschorr on tap and available for a 20 oz...


Heres my list:

Cider: Woodchuck is my choice. Only problem is it goes down too easy.
Amber, dark and dry and granny smith are all solid flavors. I have yet
to try pear and rasberry.
Hardcore Brand Cider is excellent as well. It is brewed by Sam Adams
but a little tough to find in form of a 6 pack.
Magner's Irish Cider. Had it tonight for the first time and it's not as tart
as Woodchuck. I highly recommend it if you can find it.

Beer:
Franziskaner Hefeweizen: Love it. I get the 22 oz bottles for family
gatherings/special occasions and just nurse it. The dunkel is excellent
too for a dark beer.
