Ok so when shifting at like 3k its all good. But when Im getting on it, like 5-8500 it grinds in 3rd, and third only. It never did this before, but it only grinds when shifting at high rpms, at low its perfectly normal. Do I need to adjust the clutch pedal to put more pressure to the clutch? Anyone know where this adjustment screw is or how to do it? I dont tihnk the syncro is messed up, well i hope it isnt lol.

put in some better fluid like bg syncroshift and let the rpms fall just i little bit more before you ram it in 3rd

it could be a synchro going bad... not the end of the world but it will continue to grind and may lead to slower shifting. if that is what it is then the only fix for it would be to open the tranny and replace it, but thats going to be pretty expensive.
but like what was said above, some quality tranny fluid can help synchros to live longer and put off problems from them for longer.

Welcome to B series transmissions. Definitely a synchro. I had bad grinds in 4th and 5th when I first started using my new tranny. After a week or so, GM Synchromesh tranny fluid helped a lot, and I rarely grind. Look into that immediately.

So swap out the fluid completly? Id hope its not a syncro due to the fact that its a freshly swapped motor, with low mileage. Im assuming swapping new fluid in isnt going to be a hard task. Right>?

No, changing your tranny fluids should be as hard as changing your engine oil.

Just remember to take out your fill plug first to make sure you can put fluid back in.
