Okay so I have been reading on passatworld.com that some of the guys have been taking their front sway bars off and in some cases the rear off too combined with a sport suspension gives them a RWD (like) handling car (being able to kick out the rear in corners)? Is this possible? I'm not gonna remove mine just to find out without thinking logically. Just wanted to see if anyone has done this or if there is logic behind it?

it will get rid of some understeer, as the thread says. It will probably handle better under stressful driving, but i doubt it will handle like a RWD car lol, a common fix for understeer is a rear sway bar, on both RWD and FWD cars, by removing your front sway bar it is strengthening the effects of the rear bar, offsetting the original balance and creating more oversteer. I say try it, worse comes to worse you dont like it and put it back on, i highly doubt it will break anything.
